Short run CD/DVD duplication
- we use only premium blank media... these discs have a silver (not blue or green) bottom and look like a commercially manufactured CD
Vibrant full-color insert/tray card printing on the Konica Minolta Digital Press
On-disc printing
- black on-disc thermal printing... don't settle for stick on labels, thermal printing gives your discs the professional image your music demands
- beware of the appealing color of on-disc injet printers... the ink will never really dry and is very prone to smudging
- if you would like full color on-disc printing... 200 line color silkscreening is the only way to go. This option is available on runs of 300 or more.
Poly wrap
- true "over-wrapping" style (not heat-shrink bags) adds the finishing touch to your project.
We are also a Disc Maker's Studio Partner, offering runs of 500, 1000, or more with advanced packaging options such as digipaks, self-mailers, and other promotional tools.
Accepted formats
Text: Microsoft Word or Publisher files are preferred
You can also simply include your text in the body of an email message
Pictures/Images: 300 dpi jpg or tiff files (600dpi is also fine... no need to go higher than that)
Please check the file size... in this case bigger is better... a single image should be close to 1MB. The size of a digital image is directly related to how much you can increase the size on the printed page before the image becomes "grainy" and distorted.
A note about photos from personal digital cameras... often a picture looks fine on your computer screen, but may not have sufficient resolution to print from. If you are taking pictures to be used for a CD insert, please use the highest quality setting on your digital camera.
PDF file format is acceptable, but we would still prefer to have separate photo/text files.
